View the Browser Log

This option displays the messages generated by Escenic templates. The messages displayed can come from two possible sources:

  • Escenic tag library tags

  • Template code. Template developers can explicitly include log messages in their templates using the util:logMessage tag.

Log messages are classified into various error level categories (ERROR, WARNING and so on). You can select which of these levels are to be displayed here using the View the logging levels option (see View The Logging Levels).
