A topic tag structure for content types

To be able to tap into the new (as of ECE 5.3.0.0) tagging mechanism of Escenic Content Engine, a tag structure has been created that can be imported into Escenic Content Engine through the Escenic administration tool (/escenic-admin/). This empty tag structure is called Topic and is meant to be used to hold any news related topics. Examples of usage would be:

  • Developing a story like the War in Libya

  • Creating celebrity pages like Michael Jackson

  • Collecting site-wide related news about a topic, like Liverpool FC

  • etc.
