Creating a Blueprint

You can create a blueprint in two different ways:

• From scratch, using the escenic-admin web application

• If the Snapshot plug-in is installed at your site, then you can use the Snapshot plug-in to create a new plug-in by copying an existing one.

To create a blueprint from scratch:

1. Open a browser and start the escenic-admin web application.

2. Select New publications from the menu on the left.

3. Create a publication as described in New publications. When you get to the Publication type option, make sure to select configuration rather than default.

To create a blueprint using the Snapshot plugin, follow the instructions given in the Snapshot documentation. You can only do this if the Snapshot plug-in is installed at your site.
